Santa arrived at NHS Lanarkshire’s headquarters in Kirklands on Wednesday 22 December and helped staff raise £625 for Cash for Kids.

Together with his elves, Father Christmas picked out raffle winners and “secret Santa” gifts.

Jacquie Cringles, management accountant, helped organise the fundraising event.

She said: “I’d like to thank everyone who donated raffle prizes, bought tickets and also Santa and his elves.

“In addition to the raffle, we also raised money through a guess the Teddy’s birthday, guess the Dumpling’s weight, a dress down day and donations for hot chocolates, cakes and goodies.

“We’re delighted we managed to raise so much money for a worthwhile cause.”
