Construction of the Learning Disabilities Assessment and Treatment Centre at Kirklands is underway.

The £7.3m development, which will open next summer, will provide a modern 12 bed in-patient facility and out-patient therapies and clinics, as part of an integrated Learning Disabilities Community Service.

The development was planned and designed with input from service users, relatives and staff and will be a flagship development within NHS Lanarkshire, giving the opportunity to develop new models of care.
