The main themes of this year’s infection control awareness week is the management of norovirus, flu, hand hygiene and management of urinary catheters.
NHS Lanarkshire’s infection control teams will have stands for Lanarkshire Infection Prevention Awareness week on:
- Monday 31 October at Rutherglen Health Centre from 10am to 2pm
- Monday 31 October at Hairmyres Hospital Atrium from noon to 4pm
- Wednesday 2 November, Monklands Hospital dining area from 10am to 11am
- And Main Entrance/Foyer from 2pm to 4pm
- Thursday 3 November at Wishaw General Hospital dining area from noon to 1pm
- And Main Entrance/Foyer from 2pm to 4pm
- Thursday 3 November at the bistro in Kirklands from 10am to 2pm
- Friday 4 November at Cumbernauld Central Health Centre from 10am to 2pm
