The plan for vascular services in Lanarkshire is to have one highly specialist centre supported by local services across the county.
One single specialist centre will lead to improved patient care provided by an expert team of staff using the most advanced technology available.
We know that some people who attend the hospital would not need to if we had better vascular services delivered in their local area. We are working to ensure such local services are set up.
