Heart Failure Medication
It is very important that you take your medication regularly. If you miss a dose or muddle your tablets up your heart failure may get worse and you may get more side effects.
You need to devise a system that ensures that you take your medication as it is prescribed. Talk to your pharmacist or nurse if you feel that you need extra help in coping with your tablets.
It is likely that you will be prescribed a combination of tablets and your condition will be monitored closely as each new tablet is introduced.
Your heart failure nurse will give you leaflets for the tablets specific to you or you can view the Understanding Heart Disease Medications pages from the options on the main menu.
