Our Diabetes Managed Clinical Network Patient Group in Lanarkshire had their first meeting on 17th February 2011. We will continue to keep you up-to-date on how the group is progressing.
This group will enable people with diabetes and their families to participate in the planning and development of services. This group will also be actively involved in raising awareness of diabetes-related issues in Lanarkshire.
The group was involved in the recent review of the new suite of Patient Information leaflets and are currently looking at a project to explore the reasons why people don't attend their diabetes appointments.
