Children's Support Group

About the Group

Families with children who have diabetes are the focus of this support group which provides parents with a network of informal information to allow them to have confidence in the care of their child.

Children are provided with opportunities for fun, peer support and social interaction with other children who face the same challenges as themselves. Examples of the fun things the children can do are Bowling, Laser Quest and Pantomime.

The group meets on the 2nd Thursday of most months in the Ronald Miller Suite in Wishaw General Hospital.
