The Macmillan & CAB in Partnership
Who we are
The Macmillan & CAB in Partnership involves all Lanarkshire Citizens Advice Bureau, Macmillan Cancer Support, NHS Lanarkshire, North Lanarkshire Council, South Lanarkshire Council and The Pension Service.
The service has been running since 2003 with funding from Macmillan Cancer Support and the expertise provided by the Citizens Advice Bureau.
In 2008 funding was secured from NHS Lanarkshire, North Lanarkshire Council and South Lanarkshire Council and we have, with their assistance, and input from The Pension Service, expanded the service so that we are able to deal with more clients.
What we do
We provide information and advice on issues such as benefit, debt, employment and housing to cancer patients and their carers throughout Lanarkshire. We receive referrals from health professionals, friends, family and people who are directly affected by cancer.
We work in partnership with other organisations to ensure that people affected by cancer throughout Lanarkshire receive the advice and information they require.
We provide a home visiting service or we can see you at one of the outreach surgeries listed below.
