The following Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) are based in the centre:
The Motherwell District Child and Family Clinic Team which covers Motherwell, Bellshill and the Wishaw area.

This is a specialist multi-disciplinary mental health service for children and young people aged from birth to 16 years old. Tel: 01698 269651.

CAMHS for Accommodated Young People team (CAYP Team)

Provides a specialist multi-disciplinary mental health service to young people who are looked after and accommodated by Local Authority Social Work Services.

CAMHS Learning Disability team

This provides a specialist multi-disciplinary mental health service for children and young people up to 18 who have a moderate to severe learning disability.

The Airbles Road Centre also houses the Motherwell Focus Intervention Team (FIT) which is a community based psychiatric nursing service.

The service caters for individuals aged between 16-65 who met referral criteria and come under inclusion of the Motherwell Community Health Partnership. (It is worth noting that the service is not applicable to those with substance misuse problems and those with severe and enduring mental health problems.

Additional services include:
  • a nurse-led assessment clinic located within Airbles Road
  • home visits
  • group work in healthcare and community environments
This sees the team interface with other areas such as occupational health, psychology, and psychotherapy. 

The team also works with voluntary organisations such as Women’s Aid, Lanarkshire Links, the community and voluntary organisation council, and the Lanarkshire Adult Mental Health group.
