Weigh to Go is a free weekly adult weight management group with groups running in venues across Lanarkshire.Free local weight management groups to help you achieve and maintain a healthy weight.

Weight to Go is designed to help you to become more active, eat well and lead a healthier lifestyle to support your health and wellbeing.

Groups are run by NHS Lanarkshire, either in workplace settings or in partnership with North Lanarkshire Leisure and South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture in community venues.

The weekly workshops are run by a Healthy Lifestyle Instructor or Weigh to Go Champion and different topics are covered each week including hidden fats & sugars, alcohol within your diet or incorporating more physical activity into your daily routine.

This allows participants to make positive choices to change their behaviour to suit their own individual lifestyles. What our participants say "...you’re sharing tips and ideas and things that are going on as well, which helps."

The workshop is then followed by a 45 minute physical activity circuit which is tailored to suit all fitness levels.

This website is designed to support people who are attending Weigh to Go group sessions by adding value to the topics covered each week within these sessions. However, the information on this website can be used on its own if you can’t attend a regular group session or to support the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle once you’ve completed the programme.
